The Specifics of China`s Foreign Policy Towards Territorial Disputes at the Current Stage

The contrast in Chinese foreign policy approaches in different territorial disputes has been a topic of interest in the research world for many years. These differences may lead to misunderstanding, miscommunication, conflicts, dissatisfaction between countries and China. This study analyzes the background and a history of relations between those countries and China, the beginning of their misunderstandings concerning border issue. It questions how disputes have been solved, what factors had influenced that decision and how conflicts could be solved in future. The research is aimed at finding the correlation between internal and external Chinese policy in order to identify factors, which territorial claims and its resolutions depend on. There is considered two the most pressing existing conflicts: South China Sea, East China Sea. The study will be conducted through the use of a comparative analysis. Its goal is to identify main policy of Chinese government in order to determine how it could influence on the world stability and relationship with countries.
