The Аpplication of Cloud Technologies in the Implementation of Smart Grid Concept

This thesis is devoted to the most actual for modern energy trajectory of its development, namely the Smart Grid. When conducting this research it was focused on the main concepts and definitions of the Smart Grid as the trend in energy, studied scientific papers and actual publications of contemporary authors, dedicated to the concept of Smart Grid, found significant assumptions and fundamental milestones in the development of the Smart Grid, the most possible perspectives of development of this phenomenon in the world and in Russia in particular, it analysed the technologies that implement this approach and analyzed the economic effects of the penetration of Smart Grid in the world and in Russia in particular.
