Legal Regulation of Personal Data Protection in the Internet

In the process of creating this thesis, the following tasks were successfully solved: а review and analysis of legislation of personal Data Protection in the Internet was conducted, the opinions of experts in the field of knowledge were considered, the court practice was analyzed, an user agreement of cloud surveillance service was developed. The first result of the thesis is the acquisition of theoretical knowledge in the field of legislation on the protection of personal data in the Russian Federation and abroad. The second result of the thesis is the acquisition of practical skills of working with legislation in the field of personal data protection by developing an Internet service user agreement. Experience gained in the process of work allows us to evaluate the current legislation in general, as meeting the basic requirements of the IT industry. At the same time, there are some shortcomings in the existing legislation, which primarily concern the prohibition of citizens' access to popular Internet resources.
