As is known, the supply chain is a system that includes many processes for organizing, planning, controlling and regulating. Under these conditions, it is clear that in order to achieve this objective, SCM should include cooperation with supply chain partners. One of the options for organizing such alliances is the introduction of VMI technology. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to perform a number of tasks: • analyze the logistics activities of the focus company and identify bottlenecks and problems in logistics activities; • consider the theoretical basis for proposals for improving integration between supply chain participants based on VMI technology, also to study its features and implementation methods; • develop proposals to optimize the retail stock on the basis of the Vendor Managed Inventory concept, as well as measures to optimize the organizational structure of the management of the focus company; • justify the expediency of the application of measures in the company X5 Retail Group N.V. With the help of calculating the parameters of economic efficiency and building a model of strategic profit. The object of the study is the company X5 Retail Group N.V. The subject of the study is the improvement of integration between the retail network X5 Retail Group N.V. and the supplier through joint planning of the retailer's stock of goods.
