Peculiarities of the Legal Regulation of Sportsmen Labour in the Russian Federation

The purpose of this work is to identify the specifics of the legal regulation of labor of athletes in the Russian Federation, the analysis of the sources of these relations, the study of the history of the issue, the development of proposals for amending the legislation. The main objectives of this research: a) to disclose and propose the definition of "sport", "professional sport", "professional sportsman"; B) formulate the author's periodisation of the development of the legal regulation of labor of athletes in Russia; C) describe the sources of legal regulation of labor of athletes; G) carry out the maintenance of such institutions, the legal regulation of the work of the athlete, for example: labor contract, working time, wages, labor discipline. Based on this work, the following conclusions were drawn: firstly, in the current legislation, devoted to the hard work of athletes, there is no clearly defined definition of the main stakeholders - athletes, which adversely affects the regulation of these relations; Secondly, the author provides a private version of the periodization of the history of labor relations of athletes; Thirdly, the identified structure of sources of regulation of labor relations with athletes, attention is paid to the codification of legislation affecting the legal regulation of the work of athletes; Fourth, the problems that arise in practice.
