The first part of the paper is dedicated to the study of different approaches towards defining the sharing economy, and particularly, the car-sharing phenomenon, different ways of development, trajectories of how it can be achieved and others. The papers belong to quoted specialists in sharing economy sphere in general and in the carsharing business in particular, such as R. Botsman, D. Woscow, P. Goudin, Van Welsum, Quinones, João E. Gata and others. The analytical part would focus on different carsharing business cases in Russia, The United States and European Union.
