Analysis of the Football Clubs Investment Attractiveness Using Multivariate Analysis and Optimization Methods

To date, football, as one of the most popular sports in the world, attracts more and more viewers. The more understandable is the interest in the industry from large investors. In the emerging conditions, there is a growing importance of analyzing investment decisions in the sports industry in general and in the professional football industry in particular. Today, investors from all over the world are ready to invest in football clubs, but football is still a "bad business". Multicriteria is the most important problem when making investment decisions. In our case, it lies in the plane of having a set of criteria for the financial condition of the football club and insufficient knowledge of the relationships between these criteria and the sports results of the team. In recent decades, many attempts have been made to analyze the financial component of football clubs using methods of multivariate analysis and optimization. Appropriate tools allows to solve a lot of different tasks, including making a decision in the presence of many investment alternatives and a set of criteria for investment attractiveness.
