Legal Issues of Formation of the Board of Directors in the Public Stock Companies

The present Master’s Thesis is dedicated to the analysis of existing legal issues of formation of the board of directors in the public joint stock companies. The author proposed ways to resolve mentioned legal issues and developed the appropriate wordings of amendments to the Federal Law No 208-FZ on the Joint Stock Companies dated 26 December 1995. Analysis of the abovementioned legal issues, as well as the search for ways to resolve them, was conducted from the point of view of the need to establish a balance between the interests of shareholders and society. The present Master’s Thesis consists of an introduction, two chapters that combine six paragraphs, and a bibliography.
