The paper is dedicated to research and developing algorithms and models of searching energy sources by robot. The paper includes Introduction, 4 chapters and Conclusion. In Introduction topicality is justified, a work object and tasks are set, research object and subject are defined, scientific novelty is described. Chapter 1 includes a review of existing approaches to robots’ energy self-containment, one of them (robots cooperative resourced picking) is examined more specific. In Chapter 2 based on organization principles of ants’ families a behavior model of energy autonomous robot was described and an energy sources searching algorithm was developed. In Chapter 3, there’s a review of simulation modeling software for multiagents systems. A simulation in one of them was carried out. In Chapter 4 a robot prototype for physical experiments is described. In Conclusion, there’s a summary of made researches and experiments. A conclusion about the highest degree of energy self-containment approved for a set of altruistic robots is made.
