It was during the presidency of Barack Obama, when China's rise has reached such a pace that the implementation by the United States of the previous policy became impossible, and America began to adapt to the changed international conditions. States that disagreed with the U.S. role in the world system began to publicly criticize Washington and declare frankly their interests. In economic terms, the shift of global economic power towards Asia has started (marked). The region with the largest population, the largest market, growing share of the middle class, etc. At the same time the growth of interdependence between the US and China has continued. Two countries are so interconnected, that an expression "Chimérica" has become popular to refer to their influence on each other and on the world system as a whole. In the period of Obama's administration global significance of Sino-US relations has increased significantly, they became the supporting construction of the world economy and the most important relationship in the world in the field of politics and security. The nature of this relationship is extremely important both for countries themselves and for the world, including Russia, since the shape of the international system will depend a lot from the further development of relations between US and China.
