The key idea of this thesis is a critical examination of the processes of strategic planning in education, namely in the management and design of practices of non-formal education. To clarify the concept of strategies in education, this thesis uses the optics of the theory of organizations from economic science. At the center of the narrative are summer camp, as an example of non-formal education practitioners. The author connects summer camp with neoclassical works of the theory of organizations, which focus their attention on the potential of innovativeness of organizations.
