Selfpresentations of Instagram Users: Intersectional Approach

Currently, social networks have become very popular, and one of the most popular social media today is Instagram. The research problem is that the regular use of the Instagram network leaves traces in the form of publications in the user profile, which are content containing indications of the identity of the user. Thus, arise when considering a new social phenomenon that is tightly woven into everyday practices. The solution of this task was carried out with using the description of the analysis of Instagram as a format for social communication, and then with usage of visual research of profile content, determined through an adapted intersectional approach, as well as semi-structured interviews with sample representatives. This set of methods allows us to identify possible trajectories of using Instagram, as well as to reveal the features of Instagram-communication. Our research has shown that Instagram is not just a part of everyday life, but also a violation of user rights, subscriptions and subscriptions. Also, the results of the difference in understanding "male" and "female" on the online platform were revealed.
