Implementation of Automation Tools for Order Picking at a Storage Terminal at GDP Company

This paper is dedicated to implementation of automation tools for order picking. The paper consists of three parts. The first one includes economic activity analysis. The outcome of the first part of the paper is identification of the major problems in a company and ways how they can be tackled. Second part is a literature review. In this part, automated means for order picking are analyzed, compared and as a result appropriate variant is chosen. All the details, concerned to the proposed variant are described in the third part. The paper ends with cost-effectiveness analysis, where profitability and economic expediency is shown.
