To perform the assessment, the data were taken from the Russian monitoring of the economic situation and health of the population of Russia for 2016. For this, several models were used: binary and orderly choice. The maximum likelihood method was used. In the course of the study, it was proved that a populated area, income, sex, life satisfaction, age and the presence of a bad habit (smoking) affect the consumption of alcoholic products.
