The topic of my research intended to cover questions concerning individual attitudes and practices towards money among modern Moscow youth. Problem of the research are changes in the modes of the handling of money among young men and women in comparison with their previous parental generation caused by social and economic transformations in modern society. Money has been always used as a tool for many purposes in our everyday lives but the meaning that money carries is subjected to an individual’s valuation. In the research I will be limited to study monetary installations and the practices of Moscow youth in a type of the fact that the concept of money is rather complex phenomenon.
