Development of a Business Plan for the Opening of an Ice Cream Café for the Gelissimo Investment Project

Subject of this research – "Development of a Business Plan for the Opening of an Ice Cream Café for the Gelissimo Investment Project". In the process this work the branch of public catering in Russia is considered and market of ice cream is analysed. The main problem of this research is developing business plan for the real project which will be realized in practice. The advantages due to which Gelissimo given the ice-cream bar will be different from competitors have been marked out. In the course of this research the detailed analysis of the market and possible competitors has been carried out. Either, marketing plan was made. In this plan marketing strategy of the company for the next several years has been defined. In the production plan all investment and capital expenditure is counted. As well as, product cost and all production expenses which needed to be considered for the subsequent drawing up the financial plan is defined. Special attention in this paper is paid to the financial plan and an assessment of economic efficiency. It is necessary to understand, how attractive the project to realization. Payback Period of this project is 19 months. This is a good index. According to the results it is possible to draw a conclusion that the project of opening Gelissimo ice-cream cafe is perspective for realization. This research has practical nature, the developed business plan will be applied at start of the project which is planned for the 3rd quarter 2017. The structure of paper is presented by introduction, three chapters, 15 paragraphs, conclusion, the list of references and 3 appendices. In the thesis are used: 31 tables, 9 drawings, 9 formulas, 57 sources of literature. Total pages – 93.
