Development of Decision-Making Procedure on Transformation of Reference Business-Processes in ERP System Implementation

This paper is devoted to the problem of decision making on the necessity to change (transform) business processes, proposed by the software vendor, within implementing of ERP systems. Solutions of the SAP vendor company in the main means of supply processes automation in the oil industry are considered in detail. The paper considers the oil and gas company, its general characteristics, its organizational structure, its key business processes. The decision-making procedure on transformation of reference business-processes in ERP system implementation is proposed and described in detail. The given procedure is applied on an example of considered business processes of the company, results is received, efficiency is estimated. The work is offered to consultants and project managers of consulting companies with the implementation of ERP systems to help in determining the approach for work on setting up and finalizing the system.
