Application of Eclipse EMF Technology for Tool Support in Enterprise Modeling

Business modeling is a process of mapping the subjective vision of work flows in a formal and strict model which consists of interrelated operations. Nowadays there are lots of methodologies that offer a wide space for business model’s description. One of such methodologies is DEMO. To improve instrumental support with DEMO, a study was conducted to identify possible ways to simplify work with models for business intelligence. The solution was found and its name is MIT Alloy Analyzer. The work provides examples of constructing DEMO models and their analysis using this tool. One of the main results of work became the injection of analysis tools in existing business model’s editor. The given result broaden the horizons for other models and possibilities of their analysis in one application.
