The Optimization of Global Production Strategies in the World Sector of Consumer Electronics

Due to the widespread application of consumer electronics in all spheres of human activity the optimization of production in this sector of economy is becoming a preeminent concern for the companies that would like to take a leading role in manufacturing the goods presenting considerable proportion of the demand on global market. However, the main weakness of previous researches consists in the fact that the study area still stays underexamined, because the sector of consumer electronics is recently established and requires future observation. Thus, this study aimed at investigating the dominant production strategies optimized and applied by the main companies in Consumer Electronics industry. Content analysis, historical, quantitative and quality estimations will be used in order to define the essence of manufacturing strategy, its determinants as well as the optimization of these production approaches by company-leaders in the world sector of consumer electronics.
