The Specific Use of the Agile Project Management Tools for Multimedia in «Small Media» Projects

This study describes the specific features that are common for agile-management relating to media-sphere. 6 basic agile approaches (Lean, Kanban, Scrum, XP, Crystal, Scrumban) are considered in the theoretical part of the research. Also a view on the use of these approaches for managing media organizations, media teams and media product design tools is proposed. As the most effective media organization format for the implementation of agile principles is considered a group of multimedia projects called ‘small media’. A review of definition, different concepts in defining a small media phenomenon is carried out in this study and key processes of this type of organization are identified. This study is a project work. It implies the agile transformation of processes in the regional multimedia youth project using the Trello platform as a software backplane.
