It is believed that there is no the same difference in the Russian language as in English ‘hand vs. arm’. Why? In fact, Russian has the word ‘кисть’, corresponding to ‘hand’, and the word ‘рука’, which can be attributed to ‘arm’. To answer this question without referring to the actual use of these words (constructions, where these words occur) in the natural language is impossible. In this research, I use the corpora data for Russian, Czech, German and English languages. Analyzing the received data, first of all, I want to reveal the conceptualization of body part through counstructions. Secondly, to build up a system to describe the concepts and to improve the stymuls.
