The Functions of Ethnic Media: the Case of Periodical Ethnic Press of Central Asian Diasporas in Moscow

The paper analyses the functions of periodical printed publications of Central Asian diasporas in Moscow. The author analyzes the content of printed editions of Kyrgyz, Kazakh, Uzbek, Turkmen and Tajik diasporas published from September 2016 to April 2017. The work presents expert interviews with editors of publications, as well as researchers of ethnic media in Russia.
