This study deals with the process of adjectivation of participial forms. The main hypothesis was that adjectivation depends on the choice of the type of syntactic construction. The degree of adjectivization could be possibly judged by the dependents of the participle. Around 2228 of RNC entries were observed and marked. The data obtained was described in terms of the parameters previously mentioned in the literature. In addition, it was clarified which of these characteristics affect the adjectivization of the participial form.
