Social Resilience of Russians' Consumer Practices During the Economic Crisis

The paper considers the economic crisis of 2014-2016 as an unstable background for the manifestation of signs of social resilience in consumer practices of Russians. Adaptation to the economic conditions is understood as an alternative response of the consumer to the growth of prices and the fall in income that does not suit him. During the study, fifteen semi-structured interviews were collected and opinions about the economic situation in recent years in Russia and about the tools used by consumers to adapt for changes in the market of goods and services were systematized.
