«The Formation of Welfare State: the Case of Argentina» - this work is devoted to the specifics of the formation of the welfare state in Latin America as examples of countries of the late industrialization. For a more detailed interpretation, the reseach is narrowed to the study of Argentina, as a particular example of the welfare state with a long history of social policy formation. The emphasis is made on the activities and strategies of international organizations as one of the main factors of the welfare state development. This work is particularly relevant since the expansion of economic globalization and the increased role of international organizations in shaping social policy of countries.
