Two mutually contradictory practices, such as smoking and a healthy lifestyle, are examined in the work. It turns out how these practices are combined by one individual and what meaning he puts in the notion of a "healthy lifestyle". The study uses a qualitative methodology, namely, 17 semi-formalized interviews with smokers aged 18 to 24 who regularly exercise. The work consists of two parts: the first contains the theoretical basis of the selected topic, based on both Russian and foreign scientific literature; The second part sets out the results and main conclusions of the study.
