The Influence of Corporate Venture Investments on Innovative Development and Cost of the Company

Master thesis includes introduction, 3 chapters and the conclusion. In chapter 1 features of corporate venture funds are considered, tendencies of their development in Russia are determined and the existing methods are analyzed In chapter 2 the technique of an assessment of innovation and calculation of cost of corporate venture funds by means of regression model is presented. In a chapter 3 regression models according to innovation are constructed and the cost of corporate venture funds, check of the delivered hypotheses is performed and homoscedasticity and autocorrelation tests are carried out. Research work is written on 65 pages, includes 22 tables and 32 sources of literature. During the research 123 corporate venture funds were analyzed for the eight-year period from 2009 to 2016. Two main regression models for an assessment of innovation and cost of venture funds were constructed. The received conclusions and recommendations can be used as in further research works on venture funding, and at the innovative entities of the Russian Federation that can increase their efficiency and competitiveness due to improvement of quality of management of innovative potential.
