Optimization of Transportation Routing from China

The need in studying the transport aspect of the foreign economic activity of an enterprise is that the established operation of this system allows to reduce costs significantly. In addition, the conclusion of international contracts strengthens the company's position in the market. In this paper, the rapidly developing direction of supplies from China is being considered. The study used methods such as observation, analysis of documents, as well as cost calculation, which allowed to identify general aspects of the foreign economic activity department of the enterprise under study, and to identify a direction that requires special attention, and then on their basis to develop recommendations for their improvement. The expected result from the application of the recommendations indicated in this work is the savings of funds associated with the delivery of cargo from the Chinese supplier to VNIIBT-Drilling Tools.
