In recent years applied researchers have become increasingly interested in the image of Russian Country Estate as a complicated cultural and historical complex. It is widely known that the pastorale originally came from the ancient poetry of Virgil and Horace and represents a whole community of genres, unification of the image of rural life close to nature, as well as the conviction that this life is the most moral, innocent and happy. However, this tradition of describing carefree and joyful life of the nobility in suburban backwoods in Russian poetry of the 20th century become obsolete. In this case, a collection of poems «Samovar» of B. Sadovsky, which consists of poems dedicated to the feast appear to be exceptional and symptomatic. The purpose of the conducted research is to ascertain what place in the pleiad of Russian Silver Age poets Sadovsky meant for himself and moreover, what message he wanted to convey with the help of his collection. The overall goal of my study is to analyze the world of Russian noble estate in poetry of 20th century as a bright national phenomenon, and to extend the existing research by formulating an outlook on nostalgia for this world as a desire to return to the roots of national culture. To achieve the goal set, it is necessary to collect the texts, provide a description of the representation the image of samovar in the poems, determine the relationship between the variants in the texts, outline the evolution of the motif through the other thematically similar texts and come to a conclusion about the possible intentions and reasons for the appearance of such collection of poems.
