Ethics in sports law

The goal of the present thesis research is to compile integral scientific notation on a system of ethical rules and guidelines in the sphere of top-class and high performance sports, sports ethics at large. The research consists of an introduction, four chapters, a conclusion and a reference list. The introduction explains the relevance of the research, defines aims and objectives, and describes theoretical and methodological basics of the research. Chapter 1 considers general theory of ethics and theory of sports ethics as one of its elements. Chapter 2 is dedicated to studying of the principle of fair play in classic interpretation, its various aspects is such spheres of sports relations as anti-doping, relations with the participation of persons with extra high testosterone level; the problems in the spheres above and recommendations on how to solve them are also stated. Chapter 3 reveals the manipulation of sport events as one of ethical challenges of the modern sports, CAS practice on the problem is analyzed, major recommendations on improvement of Russian law in that part are suggested. The conclusion describes an outcome of the research, mentions major recommendations concerning the issues analyzed in the course of the research.
