Features of Project Management in the Aviation Industry

The purpose of this study is to develop recommendations for improving project management in the aviation industry of the Russian Federation. In the framework of this paper, the role of aviation in the modern economy and prospects for the development of the global aviation industry are considered. Further, the role of project management in the aviation industry and the characteristic features of project management in the aviation industry are discussed, and the world experience and trends in project management in the aviation industry are illustrated using the example of the work of foreign companies. Also, the current status and main problems of aviation industry development in the Russian Federation are studied, the possibility of applying the studied foreign experience is analyzed, recommendations are made for improving the aviation industry project management system of the Russian Federation on the basis of the PMBOK project management knowledge. In conclusion, summarizing the conclusions and recommendations obtained in the course of this study.
