Development of Supply Logistics Controlling System in Retail Company Castorama LLC

In the absence of production, the activities of retailers in the field of procurement can be considered as one of the main reserves to reduce the cost of sales and improve the efficiency of the company. In this way, it becomes actual to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of supply activities in order to track an achievement of the planned indicators and support decision-making. The purpose of this master's dissertation is to develop a supply logistics controlling system for a company operating in the retail market of goods for home and repair. Supply logistics controlling system will allow the company to improve its position in the market by timely obtaining up-to-date information on supply processes and prompt response of rapidly changing environmental conditions. This paper suggests an approach to the development and implementation of a supply logistics controlling system for a retail company, as well as an assessment of the economic effectiveness of the proposed solutions.
