This article presents a survey of medium-sized enterprises in the Russian Federation and analyzes the impact of direct foreign investment in the sectoral context. The medium-sized businesses should define parameters that directly or indirectly affect revenue, as well as determine the production strategy, depending on the activity of foreign investors. The research is essential, as studies of contemporary scientists did not present a single regression model of factors affecting the revenue of enterprises taking into account horizontal and vertical spillover effects.
