This master's thesis provide analysis of theatrical practices of the autoteatro and explores possible applications of this context for the process of formation of specific type of subjectivity, which is defined as cyborg-subjectivity. The exploration is grounded on various theoretical and artistic concepts, that may be applicable for the formulation of the diversified interpretation of the cases of autoteatro. Among these reflections the main ones referred to in the thesis are psychoanalytical reflections of Y. Kristeva, the concept of "author function" by M. Foucault, the theory of "emancipated spectator" of J. Ranciere and the "oppositional consciousness" described by D. Haraway. The author relies on reflections from within the discipline of theatre studies itself as well and contextualizes her elaboration referring to J. Parker-Starbuck, E.G. Graig, J. Grotovski, C. Bishop, N.Ritdout and etc. An author suggests using the interpretation of any theatrical experience as a "failure" and elaborates on the idea of intermediality of theatre as prerequisite for emergence of a paradigmatic "excess" or effective "non-sense". An author claims that it is possible for the participants of such a theatre to endure an embodied transformation after which they acquire new epistemological view and idea of structure of self. In conclusion there is a reference to phenomenological interpretation of theatre and their similar interpretative models which both signal the expansive nature of such an approach and foreground the idea of applying of theatrical apparatus as an explanatory model for non-theatrical phenomena. Keywords: theatre, autoteatro, performance, intermediality, media, cyborg, cyborg-subjectivity, abjection, author, discourse, politics.
