Application of Competition Law in Digital Economy in European Union and Russia

The purpose of the given study is to assess the applicability of the EU's experience in regulating competition in digital markets for Russia. The work consists of three parts, the first of which covers the potential application of the international political economy to analysing states' regulation of markets, including at the national level and with the consideration of foreign countries' experience. The second part includes a comparative analysis of the experience of competition enforcement in the digital markets, as well as the relationship between competition law and intellectual property law in Russia and the European Union. The third chapter is aimed at responding to the most pressing issues of the digital markets' regulation, as well as developing recommendations for the Russian antimonopoly authority in this area, taking into account the experience of the European Union.
