Particular Qualities of Political Talk Online in Sport Media

In this thesis, a political conversation online in sports media is studied. The focus of this work is aimed at identifying features of the political discussion of users in a non-political environment, of which sports and news sites are a part. To achieve these goals, the content analysis method was applied, with the help of which the quality of the political discussion on these platforms was clarified. The results of the analysis are compared with similar ones in news online media. The practical purpose of the study is to highlight the features of the discourse of users of sports resources in the comments under the news, for the subsequent use of the results in order to make recommendations to the actors of the political process for posting propaganda materials on them. The theoretical part of the work is devoted to studying the online structures of the public sphere and highlighting the features of the structural proximity of the spheres of sport and politics.
