The theme of this final qualifying work is "Sources of the Formation of the Image of Paul the First in the Russian Cinema of the Beginning of the 21st Century." The volume of work is 54 pages. The object of this study - the films about Paul the First created in Russia in 2001-2013. The first film was "Poor Poor Pavel" (2003) by Vitaly Melnikov. From documentary films I chose the sixth series of the documentary series "Romanovs" (2013), another documentary series - "The Russian Empire. The project of Leonid Parfyonov "(2000-2003), which is the author's idea of ​​journalist and director L. Parfyonov. Soviet textbooks will also serve as sources. The subject of this work is the interpretation of the image of Paul the First in Russian cinema. The purpose of the research is to learn how the historical figure of Pavel the First was interpreted in Russian cinema in the beginning of XXI century.
