The research work is dedicated to managing country risks, which will allow more accurate forecasts of country risks. To achieve this goal, I used a complex methodology in the research work, including both theoretical and empirical methods. A correlation analysis was made and compared according to the Cheddock scale. That allowed to take into account the influence of all significant factors on the level of country risk, identify groups of countries with high and acceptable levels of country risk, and also rank countries. To quantify the risk of default, a regression model has been applied that, due to the selected parameters, allowed to identify the countries that pose the greatest threat to potential investors, as well as to identify countries with long-term sovereign bonds of promising countries. It is allowed to formulate a methodology for managing the country risks of the project. This work consists of an introduction, two chapters, and a final conclusion. The introduction reveals the relevance of research in the chosen direction, the problem, the purpose and objectives of the research are posed, the object, the subject of scientific research is determined, the goal and tasks are set, the methodological base of the research, its theoretical and practical significance is indicated.
