The present course work is concerned with study of territorial disputes in Republic of Moldova from the perspective of relations between political elites. In this work we have studied main history events in the context of race for power between political elites. This research is based on theoretical literature in Russian, English and Romanian. We have also made historical analysis of main events, which had an impact on escalation of conflict in Republic of Moldova. This course work consists of five parts: introduction, theoretical chapter, chapter about chronology of conflict in Republic of Moldova, analysis of the interaction of the political elite of the Republic of Moldova on the protection of territorial integrity and conclusion. All sources are given in the bibliography.
