Cooperation Between Russia and Gas Exporting Countries within GECF: Limits and Opportunities

The volume of the thesis is 60 pages. This work is a study of the mechanisms of the functioning of the world gas market and an assessment of the prospects for cooperation between Russia and the gas-exporting countries within the framework of the GECF. The first chapter examines the history of the development of the gas industry in the Russian Federation and the history of the formation of cooperation within the framework of the GECF. The second chapter is devoted to the analysis of the regional markets of the GECF member countries within the global gas market, the study of the pricing system in the gas industry and the consideration of the GECF in the framework of the theory of institutionalism. The third chapter assesses the global prospects for the gas industry, provides a forecast of the gas industry in the Russian Federation and the GECF countries, and defines the limits of the GECF's functioning as an international organization, assessing its capabilities.
