The paper analyzes the current state and development of China's investment activity in Africa. To date, undoubtedly, the African contingent is one of the most attractive places for foreign investment. Africa, which is famous for its fertile lands, favorable climate, with its hydrocarbon reserves, cheap labor, does not leave indifferent Chinese investors. Also, China's investment activity in Africa can be linked with the desire of the PRC authorities to expand their geography of influence in the world. Today, China-Africa relations have a strategic nature. Already today, China is the number one investor in the region, investing in infrastructure projects, in the agricultural industry in the creation of joint companies for the oil and gas industry, etc. But it is impossible not to mention the problems in relations between Africa and the PRC, since Chinese investments have a positive impact on infrastructure projects in Africa than Western investments, African countries do not receive sufficient benefits in creating jobs, and thus PRC in the public opinion of Africans is considered In a negative way.
