The Strategy of the State Corporation Rosatom in the International Market

Nowadays, the increasing demand for electricity leads to the fact that more companies and states are compelled to build power generation systems. This means that the whole world is expanding its energy complex, one of the constituent parts of which is nuclear power. Nuclear power is one of the most promising development areas of the world energy complex due to its advantages. Atomic generation of electricity almost does not harm the environment and at a price level surpasses almost all types of energy generation. The main and only representative of the Russian Federation in the world market of nuclear power is the state corporation "Rosatom". State Corporation Rosatom is a unique company operating in the markets of all nuclear power generation chains, from the extraction of natural uranium to the construction of nuclear power plants. At present, the NPP construction market includes not only construction, but also the provision comprehensive offer for entire range of services associated with the electricity generation. Consequently, the main and most promising market in the entire nuclear industry is the nuclear power plant construction market. In this thesis, the strategies of companies will be considered, both in international markets and in particular. The activity of Rosatom in international markets has been analyzed and the NPP construction market and the position of Rosatom State Corporation have been studied there.
