Psychological Characteristics of Lifestyle of Free Travelers

This work explores psychological characteristics of the lifestyle in free travelers - those who travel as the main activity in theirs lives. The author analyzes the main modern studies of free travelers, as well as other various groups of travelers. It was revealed that the research of free travelers was carried out mainly on the basis of sociological and sociopsychological methodology. In this paper, the task is set of a detailed generalized description of the lifestyle of free travelers. As a result of the study, the main characteristics of the lifestyle at various levels were established. Based on the results obtained, recommendations are given for further studies of the lifestyle for the sake of constructing new therapeutic practices in wilderness, based on russian psychological approaches.
