Poetics of the Social Criticism in the Russian Rock- and Rap-Poetry

The research is devoted to the analysis of the language of socio-critical statements in the two phenomenons of Russian-speaking culture: Soviet rock-music of the second half of the 1980s and modern rap. The study made it possible to identify the main features of social criticism developed by both genres and to trace the cultural dynamics that predetermined the changes that have took place in the formulation of social subjects by these popular genres.
