Improving the Stock Management System of the Company-Retailer Leroy Merlin Vostok

Theme: «Improving the Stock Management System of the Company-Retailer Leroy Merlin Vostok » Key words: inventory management, retail company, “out-of-stock”, stock replenishment. The purpose of the work is to develop recommendations for improving the inventory management system of Leroy Merlin Vostok to enhance its competitiveness in the DIY market. Within the framework of the work, the urgency of the topic is substantiated, the company's position in the DIY market and its financial, economic and logistical activities are analyzed, and problems in the field of stock management are revealed. Also in the work the existing classical and modern approaches of the stock management in retail companies are studied and an algorithm for improving the process of inventory management in Leroy Merlin Vostok is developed as well as its economic efficiency by the example of one category of product is proved. The volume of the final qualifying work is 127 pages, on which are placed 32 pictures and 22 tables. 34 sources were used to write the work.
