Analysis of Mortgage Market Development

The aim of this research is to study specifics of Russian mortgage market and its mechanism of functioning, understanding of which would be useful for mortgage market development. The tasks of the research are following: • to study theoretical framework of Russian mortgage market; • to chose methodological framework of research; • to provide analysis of mutual influences of mortgage market factors on each other; • to interpret the results of analysis; Object of research is Russian mortgage market. Subject of research is structure and interrelations of the mechanism of influence of mortgage market factors. The research is based on works of Russian and foreign authors, which includes books, articles in periodicals, annual state-of-the-art reviews, dictionaries, electronic resources. As well as that, statistical data and reports published by international and national institutes were used for model construction. Novelty of research. Analyzing scientific literature, I found that mutual influences of Russian mortgage market factors on each other are not covered in full. This work will try to study the effects of influence of these factors on the volume of mortgage market and their interconnection between each other in order to understand the mechanism of functioning of Russian mortgage market. I believe that understanding of that mechanism would be useful for the state in developing Russian mortgage market.
