The Personal Predictors of Coping Behavior of Extreme Profession Representatives

Theme: "Personal predictors of coping behavior of representatives of extreme professions". The volume of the GQW is 65 pages. It includes 12 tables. There were used 28 sources. Key words: coping behavior, coping strategies, representatives of extreme professions. The object of this study is the coping strategies of representatives of extreme professions. The subject of the study is the link of personal predictors of representatives of extreme professions with coping strategies people choose. GQW consists of an introduction, two chapters, three conclusions and a final conclusion. The introduction reveals the relevance of the topic. Also, the problem the goal, the objectives and the hypotheses of the research are proposed there (majority of representatives are extraverts, which means that they use active coping-strategies: the decision of responsibility, self-control, problem solving planning and positive reassessment. The second hypothesis is the assumption of the existence of gender differences in the chosen coping strategies). Besides, in this work methodological basis of the study is briefly described, as well as theoretical and practical significance. In the first chapter, we reveal the concept of "coping", features of coping behavior of representatives of extreme professions, their PIQ (professionally important qualities) and professional training. The second chapter describes empirical study of coping strategies, which are used by representatives of extreme professions in difficult life situations. The problem of research, goals, tasks, hypothesis is described; an empirical research program is being prepared. As well, we report description and discussion of the results.The conclusion lists the main results of the study. The conclusion is devoted to summing up the main results for the whole work and further actions related to a deeper study of this topic.
