This article is devoted to one of the pertinent aspects of civil law - learn about of the principles of civil law. Contemporary civil law is an offshoot of law that establishes the common principles which find the quintessence of the content, social placement and the primary branch-particular features of legal regulation. The object of the study is an inclusive scientific understanding of the essence of the principles of civil law. The work is an attempt of complex study of the principles of civil law based on law and custom. The Civil Code has been successfully and appropriately applied for many years in court practice. However, there is a need for the theoretical rethinking of legal phenomena in terms of their compliance with the principles.

Student Theses at HSE must be completed in accordance with the University Rules and regulations specified by each educational programme.

The full text of a thesis can be published in open access on the HSE website only if the authoring student (copyright holder) agrees, or, if the thesis was written by a team of students, if all the co-authors (copyright holders) agree.
