The degree project "Heroes of the Time" (DOCUMENTARY TV-FILM, TVORCHESKIY FORMAT) consists of two chapters. Keywords: documentary, television, installation, work of the operator, feature of documentary, genre. The Russian documentaries about alcohol addiction became an object of a research. Object of research – an image of the people saving patients from alcoholism. The work purpose – to create a new media product – the documentary about treatment of alcohol-addicted people. The theoretical research was conducted by method of the analysis of literature and documentaries where the image of the narcologist is shown. In chapter 1 the documentary is studied as a telejournalism genre. And also documentary emergence, direction and installation, work of the operator-documentary film maker, types of a dramaturgic syuzhetoslozheniye in documentary is studied. In chapter 2 work on creation of own documentary is in detail described. The practical value of final work is that the created documentary is ready for use on television.
