The validity of the given subject matter causes no doubt since citizens with court cases, where proceedings have been exceeded within reasonable period of time encounter inflation losses because of the inability to dispose their property entirely and suffer moral damages resulting from legal uncertainty caused by prolonged proceedings. Consequently, this study will address the most important issues connected with the essence of the reasonable period of time of proceedings, criteria concerning the necessity to judge the compliance or noncompliance of the reasonable period of time with legal nature and compensation amounts for the violation of this time period and other important aspects of the right for proceedings within reasonable period of time.
